Our client was involved in a violent motor vehicle collision with a large commercial truck.
The truck driver was driving recklessly and drove his truck into our client’s direction of travel, causing our client to collide into the truck head on. Our client suffered from a severely fractured ankle, and injuries to her knee and shoulder and had to wait for emergency personal to extricate her from her vehicle. She underwent two emergency surgeries to address her broken ankle and spent several weeks in the hospital and rehabilitation facility during the holidays. For the next year and a half she underwent a rigorous course of physical therapy and rehabilitation care. The defendant driver also failed to return back to his employer, and Attorney Darryl Freedman hired an investigator who found out the defendant had several criminal offenses. The insurance tried to argue that our client’s injuries were preexisting, but Mr. Freedman argued that the crash resulted in an aggravation of the client’s condition. The Law Office of Darryl B. Freedman resolved her claim for $600,000.
